Intake Investigator

As the Intake Investigator, Catherine A. Parada is primarily responsible for conducting intake interviews with Reporting Parties to clarify their reported concerns and to assist the EEO-TIX Office with determining the appropriate resolution steps. Catherine also assists in proactive education programs and partnerships to promote best practices to ensure equity and inclusion in employment, admissions, and other programs and activities across the University. In addition, she participates as a member of EEO-TIX’s Alternative Resolution working group, which seeks to promote alternatives to Formal Resolutions (which often involve lengthy investigations), where appropriate, to more quickly resolve reported concerns.

Catherine has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach and a Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
