USC to Commemorate Juneteenth

USC will hold a virtual commemoration of Juneteenth on Monday, June 20 at 12 p.m. that will be hosted by President Carol L. Folt and feature faculty, staff and students. The event will reflect on the holiday’s impact on the Trojan community and celebrate the triumphs of Black Americans. You can register for the event here.

Juneteenth is an annual celebration that commemorates the emancipation of slavery in the United States and is also known as Freedom Day, Jubilee Day, Liberation Day and Emancipation Day.
