USC Celebrates Latinx Heritage Month

The University is celebrating Latinx Heritage Month with a virtual an in-person event featuring remarks from President Carol L. Folt, faculty, staff and students on Thursday, Sept. 15 at 12:15 p.m. The in-person event will be held at Tommy’s Place between 12-2 p.m. with light snacks and refreshments. Other events planned for Latinx Heritage Month include an Alumni Life Class hosted by the USC Latino Alumni Association, a potluck picnic, workshops and artistic performances. The U.S. Department of Education is also promoting an array of events that will be held as part of Latinx Heritage Month at its events calendar.
